This is a Schedule to the General Terms of Pixelhomes Ltd. This Schedule applies to the website-design Services defined below, and as stipulated in an Order.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions used in the General Terms apply to this Schedule. Any other terms defined in this Schedule have that meaning for this Schedule only.
"Project"
The services that we provide to our customers by which we work with you to build a website, and supply ancillary services, the specification of which is as listed and updated on Our Website from time to time. Project also relates to the website included with your plan.
"Setup Fee"
The fee paid to us by you to set up the hosting, domain and website before entering into the monthly payment plan.
"Live Date"
The date your website will be published.
"Hosting"
The service required for your website to be viewed online.
"Domain"
The websites address, which specifies an available domain name or self-owned domain name, which will be used for the client’s website.
"Content"
The images and text used on a client’s website.
"SEO"
Search Engine Optimisation - The service relating to making your website rank higher on search engines for certain key words.
2.1 Monthly Website Plans are not contracted. Payment in advance is required for the service to continue.
2.2 Monthly Website Plans may be cancelled at any time by giving 14 days notice before the next invoice is due. Continued payment is accepted as you requiring the service to continue.
2.3 Please be aware that any additional extras, features, pages, plug-ins that are not included within your plan will occur an extra fee on Pixelhomes discretion. Content Writing is NOT included within our plans.
2.4 Pixelhomes Ltd retains ownership of the website. The website may be purchased for a fee at any time, at which time the services we provide with stop.
3.1 The website can be ‘suspended’ if (but not limited to) there is Late Payment, Refusal of Payment, Cancelled Direct Debit mandate, Inappropriate/Illegal Content on the website, or for any reason management deem necessary. We do not have to notify you if your site has been suspended and can be done any time, down to our discretion.
3.2 We will not be held responsible in any way for any downtime caused by ‘Website Suspension’ or any lost profits and emails.
3.3 In the case of a Website Suspension, the following will be affected:
3.3.1 Your website will be marked as ‘Suspended’, and you will not be able to access your site, and neither will the public.
3.3.2 You will not be able to receive or send emails and any emails during the suspension that were sent to you and these emails will not be able to be recovered, under any circumstance.
3.3.3 Pixelhomes Ltd holds full right to keep a website suspended, for any reason we deem necessary.
4.1 We allow for a 48-hour grace period to change your mind, after purchacing one of our website plans. Once work on your website has commenced, no cancellation refunds will be given. Please ensure you are fully committed to having Pixelhomes Ltd manage your website, before signing up to our service and paying the setup fee.
4.2 No refund of the setup fee will be provided, on a result of a cancellation after 48 hours.
5.1 Email is our primary method of contact within the website development process and for technical support after the website has been developed (if applicable). Please use our ticket system in the client area for any requests. The form can be found here.
5.2 It is the client’s reasonability to ensure we are notified of any change in your personal information including (but not limited to) address, phone number, name or business type (e.g. Sole trader). If you have not received communication from us because you have not told us about your new details, this will be the client’s responsibility and we will not be held responsible.
5.3 It is essential to keep in contact with Pixelhomes Ltd throughout the website development process. If the client doesn’t contact Pixelhomes Ltd for over 14 days, of us trying to contact you, the project could be terminated, and the setup fee forfeit.
6.1 Monthly Website Plans come with ‘Ongoing Technical Support’ which ensures that any issues caused by Pixelhomes Ltd or by a website plugin upgrade are fixed. Security updates to services running wordpress will be added automatically as the become available.
6.2 Any self-inflicted or client caused issues are not covered by our technical support and will be charged a fee, down to our discretion.
6.3 Amendments are not covered by our Website Aftercare or ‘Ongoing Technical Support’ and will occur a fee, down to our discretion.
6.4 While we take every care to ensure we take backups, we can’t fully guarantee the loss of data can be recovered, if a backup file fails or becomes corrupted.
6.5 We will only provide ‘Ongoing technical support’ if all your payments are up-to-date or it can be refused until your billing account is up to date.

7.1 Website Plans come with 1 domain name (as part of the setup fee), which is either an available (.co.uk) or (.com) domain name. Other domain names may occur an additional fee, according to market prices.
7.2 If you currently own a domain name, this will need to be transferred or pointed to Pixelhomes Ltd nameservers. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the transfer works.
7.3 If you wish to transfer your domain name after your management plan ends and all minimum payment has been made to us, you will need to provide an IPS tag, of your new provider. After we release the domain name, we will no longer take responsibility for the transfer or management of the domain name. You may of course opt to leave your domain name with us to manage yourself with our self service control panel.
7.4 The domain name will be registered under your details, provided to us on your registration form.
7.5 You will be required to pay the renewal fee for the domain. The first year is included with the setup fee.
8.1 E-Commerce sites are powered by WooCommerce on the WordPress CMS. Functionality is restricted to this platform.
8.2 Pixelhomes Ltd does not provide a payment gateway, you will need to choose a gateway such as Stripe, PayPal or another WooCommerce supported payment gateway.
8.3 If you wish to import stock (products) onto your website, we must know this in advance of the client signing this contract, as this may or may not occur an extra fee. We cannot be held responsible or assist in importing products through third-party wholesalers.
8.4 The client is responsible for adding their own categories and products to their website, Pixelhomes Ltd does not provide this as a feature or service, although you will be guided through the process at first if required.
9.1 We currenlty offer modification of exisiting template designs, which we have resell rights to. The current design template providers we use are Divi for wordpress and bootstrapmade for static sites. The design & development servicve we offer is limited to modifying the templates by adding your content. We do not currently offer bespoke design, but we will look into this for the furure.
9.2 If you request multiple revisions, this will require more time from our developers, to carry out work on your website. This will make any previous timeframes we have provided invalid. Please be patient as any revisions will need to be booked into the next available slot.
9.3 Pixelhomes Ltd uses Open Source (free) Software and sometimes plugins to help develop elements of the client’s website. Free versions of plugins may also be used for some of the functionality of your website, available from marketplaces such as (but not limited to) WordPress Plugins directory. If you need the premium version of any of these plugins, they will need to be purchased separately by the client.
9.4 We always try and meet the client's design specifications (within reason), in some cases this is not always possible, and we make no guarantees on any of your design specifications and an alternative may need to be found in some cases. Design, layout and functionality changes are all subject to the restrictions of the templates and WordPress & WooCommerce (for e-commerce sites) platforms.
10.1 Opening hours are between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday on business working weekdays. We are closed on bank holidays and over the christmas period (except for extremely urgent matters).
10.2 While avoided as much as possible, we reserve the right to close Pixelhomes Ltd on days with staff shortages, upgrades, weather conditions, seasonal holidays, events or for any other reason we deem necessary at short or no notice.
10.3 We reserve the right to change our opening hours, at any time.
10.4We will send across instructions on how to setup Pixelhomes Ltd Webmail on third-party software such as IOS Mail, Android Mail & Outlook. We cannot offer email or phone support when setting up emails on third-party software unless we state otherwise to you.
10.5 We will aim to fix any reported issues within a reasonable timeframe, which are not caused by the customers doing, within business hours.
10.6 In addition, Pixelhomes Ltd will not tolerate any form of swearing, anger, harassment from customers or third-parties against its employee’s. Pixelhomes Ltd reserves the right to cancel services, in the event of inappropriate or unreasonable behaviour and conduct. If any threatening behaviour is directed to any of our employee’s, communication will then be by postal mail only.
